During the second edition of Verzasca FOTO Festival, 03–06 September 2015, YET Magazine, represented by Salvatore Vitale (editor-in-chief) and Nicolas Polli (art director), will hold a workshop about production and conceptualisation of a printed matter.
Contemporary photographers seem to be in a revolutionary moment of communication. Everything is fast, everyone wants to have visibility, quality looks less important than quantity and likes are the selling factor. Despite all this fast Internet oriented self-promotion, printed production is never been so popular.
Why photographers want to have their own books on this era? Why so many self-published editions are produced? What is important to know in the production of a book? Which are the steps of a book?
