Annabel Oosteweeghel is a photographer based in Noordwijk, Netherlands.
For the project ‘Rooms’ I visited houses from the sixties, where the people who lived in them have already passed away. The rooms are empty and the houses are ready to be sold.
I wanted to show the remnants of a life.
With my camera I wander through houses that were once breathed in.
I sit close to the skin of a shield, the four walls that once protected the former residents from what has happened here, a secure shield against the outside.
I capture lives, times that have gone by.
