Nombreuses expositions en Suisse et internationalement, entre autres : Xenopolis, DB Kunsthalle, Berlin (2015) ; Passing, Mamco, Genève et Concrete, Fotomuseum Winterthur (2013).
Laurence Bonvin’s series – Ulundi – will be exhibited at the Biel/Bienne Festival of photography from August 28 until September 20, 2015.
Despite objections by the Inkatha Freedom Party, the Parliament of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa) was moved from Ulundi to Pietermaritzburg in 2002. Since then, various government departments (including Education, Social Development and Home Affairs) have tried to fill the gargantuan legislature building, which was put up during apartheid and now dominates the town of Ulundi. Yet it remains strangely empty. Most of the offices now serve as temporary storage for furniture and abandoned files, or are used informally by outside personnel.
